Water is a prominent feature at Ile aux Cerfs with 9 nines lakes altogether, with breathtaking panoramic views of the Mauritian lagoon, and the ocean is visible on nearly every hole.
The Ile aux Cerfs Golf Club is considered to be one of the most challenging golf course on the island. However, in 2013-2014 some upgrading work was done on the back nine and front nine for a better overall experience for the golfer.
