Mauritius is well known as a wedding and honeymoon destination, or simply for the perfect exclusive holiday. However, with our world-class golf courses, including the tri-sanctioned tournament endorsed by the European, Asian, and Sunshine Tour occurring once a year at Heritage or Anahita, Mauritius is increasingly acknowledged as an idyllic golf destination.
As a result of these developments, our Minister of Tourism, Xavier Luc Duval, took the decision to start branding Mauritius as a serious golf destination. One aspect of this promotion is the Golf Pass service, which consists of four rounds of golf chosen out of eight 18-hole courses across the island. The aim of the golf pass is to give visiting golfers to Mauritius the possibility of discovering our stunning golf courses across the island at a privileged price. The Golf Pass service is directly in line with what the serious golfer is looking for: playing multiple games at different golf courses. A serious golf holiday or tour is now possible when making use of the Golf Pass!
We at Mauritius Golf Tours, are honoured to be a privileged partner with the MTPA (Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority) and the MGTA (Mauritius Golf Tourism Association). We now have a dedicated page on this website to facilitate the booking of the Golf Pass and to advise those interested in playing golf on different courses in Mauritius.
At present, the Golf Pass only operates during low season, beginning 1st May, until 30th September. However, the MTPA and MGTA is hoping to extend this service and make it accessible all-year round.
